Greetings! Let me begin by thanking you for your interest in NOBLE and finding us online. Created March 2012, NOBLE Central New Jersey is a young chapter working very hard to personify NOBLE’s purpose as outlined throughout this website.
We have grown our chapter with an active Law Enforcement core, built by individuals from agencies spanning Federal, Local, State and County jurisdictions. We have expanded our membership with the progressive minds of educators and the students who are studying at various high schools and institutions of higher learning.
Our corporate leaders who share their expertise from the business world support these layers and we have fortified our group with the wisdom of our senior Law Enforcement members and retirees. Offering something for everyone, our chapter appeals to all. We conduct an annual Law Enforcement Career Fair, a collaboration with Brookdale Community College, our college scholarship awards, Law & You community presentations and our formal and informal mentoring provided to young officers, preparing them for leadership roles in their respective agencies.
We also host an annual Back to School book bag and school supply giveaway and serve as role models in our communities. NOBLE CNJ embraces JUSTICE BY ACTION and as displayed above, we are bringing ACTION to Central New Jersey. With several other initiatives planned over the next two years, we look forward to helping all that we can, collaborating and working with organizations with like concerns and interests and working with lawmakers across NJ regarding legislation relating to the criminal justice process along with articulating the concerns of African American officers. We look forward to hearing from you.
Eugene M. Stewart, President
